Welcome! My name is Rob McBryde. Born and raised in Arkansas, I have lived in states all across the country from Colorado, Georgia, and Illinois to California, and currently live in the Los Angeles area with my wife and son. We planted a diverse church in 2020 called The Church We Hope For where my wife Inés is the lead pastor. We are the parents of one amazing son who loves soccer and almost all the same music I do.
Faith and Leadership
From my roots as a follower of Jesus Christ since the age of ten to earning a Master of Arts at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, my Christian faith has been my guiding force. In 2003, I returned to Little Rock, serving as the young adults pastor and director of communications at the Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas. While I was there, I taught myself web design and quickly realized how much I loved the digital world.
Web Design
In December 2006, I founded IVM Communications, later rebranded as IVM Web Solutions, transforming a side hustle into a thriving web design business. Over the years, I crafted over 40 websites for diverse clients, including BBQ contest promoters, local coffee shops, churches, and non-profit organizations. Learn more about my web consulting here.
Project Management
Running that business sparked an 11-year career managing digital projects for various agencies. Today, I bring that experience to Red Hat, where I work as a Principal Program Manager. Red Hat is a leading software company specializing in open source solutions.
Creating Inclusive Spaces
Whether in vocational ministry or tech agencies, my approach has always been the same: build spaces where people feel seen, heard, and respected. I believe the best solutions come from collaborative teams that actually trust each other.
