Was Today a Good Day?

The bad parts:

Son puked on the way to daycare.

Wife had to take the day off from work to stay home with sick son.

TrailBlazer broke down in our driveway. Possibly transmission issues.

TrailBlazer had to be towed to mechanic.

Mechanic says gearshift cable and emergency brake broke. Repair and tow will cost about $500.

The good parts:

Wife was able to stay home with sick son.

Sick son got increasingly better and was pretty happy all day.

TrailBlazer broke down in our driveway...not somewhere else.

It wasn't the transmission!

We have an emergency fund to cover unexpected expenses.

Wrapped up Generation Change at Fellowship North with awesome students.

Celebrated Monica's 16th birthday.
